"BLACK ANGUS" Beef for Sale
As advertised in the Gazette, we sell Black Angus, home grown quality beef. Our beef is
free of all chemicals and steroids and fed on sweet-feed, corn and hay for a great tasting beef.
Beef is sold by the 1/4, 1/2 or 3/4 at: $3.00 per pound hanging-weight.
We have had customers inquire on the definition of "hang-weight." This is a beef on the hook
minus the head, hide and intestants. A side of beef weighs approximately, 300 pounds on the hook. Some bone is lost during processing, as a result the hanging-weight and processing weight may slightly differ.
The processing of our beef is done by G&C Packing Plant and is $450 for each 1/4 of beef. We pay all processing and wrapping fees.
